Did anyone phone to CIC about additional document request. This "bug" screwed up my mind.

I have been trying to reach them, but no luck....

All of my friends has same issues about additional docs, even though few of them got Ppr already !

Just stopped talking with Cic agent. He confirmed the fact that CIC did not send any request. Even more he told me that they are working on my Background check. He mentioned that they have done with a first stage and they are working on second stage on my application. I am really not sure about what he was talking while saying 1 and 2 stage. Maybe he was talking about security check.

Well, at least they are doing something

I asked one of my friend who is a March applicant and got PPR before me. She shipped the PP on monday and reached them on wednesday. The visa was stamped on the Friday the following week and she got the passport on the following monday. So overall 14 days to get the PP back with visa and COPR.

Another thing to consider if where you reside as this will add on to the delay for ex. if your PP is coming from Alberta there will be added transit times.

Sent passport on 23rd May. Application status changed to approved in MyCIC account on 5th May. Return tracker not activated yet!

Now on CIC UI was changed. Now we are able to see all dependents names and date of application received...That's good.
We greatly appreciate, if they fasten the process...at least finish processing within process time...Its almost 17 months now.

same with me, my dependents UI are showing.
hopefully this is the start of a faster processing.
