Hello guys, Did anyone's background check changed to in progress today ? Mine is still not applicable. Hopefully changed very soon.

So, today my medical status has been updated ( Medical - Passed on MyCIC) . And, ECAS shows that medical results have been received.

04/04 - Medical request
10/04 - Medical exam
19/04 - Status was changed

Most of my friends (applicants from October - December 2015) have already received PRs. There are couple left who have the problems on documents (personal situations, not-related to the most of applicants).

Next step - Decision Made and Passport Request. Hopefully in 2 months I will hear something from CIC. My due date is 5 May, but I do not think that miracle will be happened. I am going to order GCMS-notes at the end of April. So, it will be generated after current due date. That is why, the new due date will be there and also, I think I will find new note from officer as well.

Got the passport request today!

Requested for an extension though cause we're travelling.

Btw my BG status is still "Not Applicable" and no changes in eCAS.

Anybody has any idea if I can use anyone else's address to get passport returned to? Mine is not too safe to receive this kind of documents. Or can I use PO box or smth?

It lists several steps you gotta do:
1) update ur profile with any changes they dont know about;
2) find out if u need a visa (most do);
3) prepare documents (passports and photos);
4) send them w/return envelope.

So yes, u do need to make photos again.

I am Jan 11th Applicant

I am assuming My due date is May 11

My BG status changed to we are Processing on APR 13

Seems like not many people getting DM/PPR

Most of my friends are november Applicant !! They got everything in their Timeline .

Jan and Feb Applicant are so messed !!

Keep the finger crossed to get some good news in another 1 week !!
