Submitted it April 13. Just wanted to have an idea of when to expect passport back on average. I got BG change, DM and Passport request email on same day- April 12.

When ur back ground check and Decision made has been confirmed ?

Thank you! I am an inland applicant under SINP. VO is in Nova Scotia. An immigration consultant helped me with my application so I am not sure when was the background check started. Passport request was received on April 4th but I am not sure when was the decision made. Dont you worry I believe the whole process will all take us 16 months..

Official word - "Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application." from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=068&top=3

My background check changed from Not Applicable to 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.' today morning in between 8am to 10am PST. I did not receive any update email from CIC about this change.

Don't worry guys, we are at the final stage of this waiting punishment. I am not sure, how long will it take to DM.
