Determining if a Positive Eligibility Decision has been made
For the purposes of determining if a positive eligibility assessment has been made, the processor will review if the Eligibility Assessment value is set to “Passed” in GCMS. If this decision has not been entered yet, for the purposes of this Operational Bulletin (OB), a “positive eligibility decision” will also be considered made when it is confirmed in GCMS that:
FSWP: the “Ministerial Instructions” status has been set to “Met” or a positive Final Determination of Eligibility letter/ e-mail has been sent.
PNP: the “Eligibility EC-QC/PNP” status has been set to “Passed” or the Acknowledgment of Receipt letter/e-mail has been sent by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO).
CEC: the “Eligibility CEC” decision has been set to “Passed” or the Acknowledgement of Receipt letter/e-mail has been sent from CIO.
FSTP: the Acknowledgement of Receipt letter/e-mail has been sent from CIO.

Hope all is well.
I'm a march applicant (inland through pnp).
I got requested a RCMP criminal record about a month ago and sent it through case specific enquiry.
I got a sort of confirmation email by case specific enquiry a week ago and got another email by cic, saying 'my application has been updated'.
When I checked my cic account, I noticed my background check status changed from 'in progress' 'to 'not needed at this time'.
However, what I'm concerning is that my pr application still says 'your action is required'. On top of that, it still says 'we need an additional document from the applicant.
When I double-checked my cic account messages, there is only one messeges regarding request of RCMP criminal record and no more.
I'm still wondering why my cic account is partly updated.
To sum up,
I got requested a RCMP criminal record.
I sent it vis CSQ.
CSQ responded to me by email.
I also got email by cic, saying 'your application has been updated'.
and although my background check status changed into 'NOT needed at this time' (that means my application has been definitely updated), it still says 'we need an additional document from the applicant and your action is required'.
Has anybody come across this issue before? Please share your experience with me.
Thank you very much and wish you all the best!
Thank you for your reply. i was worried for a sec there.samv02 said:Go back to Doctor's clinic where you made appointment and ask for the document. Clinic receptionist will give you a document which will have First name, last name, passport number and UMI. That's what we should scan and send to CIC. If blood lab people takes it from you, you should go back to clinic and ask for another copy.
Good luck.
