1. Yes.
2. Yes, cover letter is perfectly fine.
3. Yes, this might be (one of ) the reason for return. That signature is for whole form hence if one section is not even applicable then also we need to sign. This time please do sign where ever it asked to at applicable places. If you have doubt then please post your form number and question number to clarify.

Yes its pain on losing time at the stage of application being returned hence i am fine in telling what i know. No problem.

I am pertaining to this part right here:

Consent and Declaration of Applicant

Read all of the statements in all sections carefully and then:

Write your dependant’s name in the space provided. (Should I put my SPOUSE's NAME on this blank, because my other dependant is just a 1year old baby girl)

Check the appropriate box to indicate if you agree that the information contained in this application related to your dependant’s intended occupation, education and work experience may be shared with prospective employers in order to assist them in hiring workers.

Sign and date in the spaces provided.

By signing, you certify that your dependant fully understands the questions asked, and that the information you have provided is complete, truthful, and correct. If you do not sign and date, the application will be returned to you.

I did not sign this page and just put a big "N/A" instead.

Please specify the form and section/question number. Is it about the form "Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]"?

You only need to fillout this form if you have more than five dependants. If you only have 1 dependant then you don't need that form included in your application

Hi, I am also from PHilippines!

So, I will not include the FORM anymore? OR is it safer I just put N/A? I passed it on too, put N/A but did not sign the declaration.

I am thinking that this is the reason why it was deemed incomplete.
Coz I cannot find any problem when I review back my scanned copies.

So frustrated with the LOST PACKAGE. It should've been easier to detect my mistakes...... :(

No you don't need this form if your dependant is your spouse and a child only. This is like an additional form for Generic IMM008 which you can only add up to five dependants but if you have more than five dependants that's the only time you need to fillout the IMM 0008DEP form.

Refer to this checklist http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf It says Additional dependants / declaration (imm 0008dep) (if applicable) below that you can see that it is completed by the principal applicant if you have more than five dependants. Goodluck kabayan :)

Ok, I will just ommit this form then. The first time, I included it and just cross is as N/A. But to be safer this time, I will not include this anymore.

I am just waiting for the LOA EXTENSION, then I can pass another package. Hopefully this time...Its Ok now.

Salamat Kabayan! ;)

Outland

But April 25, and most late April and May applicants got AOR and medical in 3 months.

Good luck.

Hey guys! Today I got Passport Request.

Hi guys!

I am so happy for the good news i am reading here, and congratulations to the rest of you!

But for us, maybe we are not too lucky as the others are. Until now the post office cannot help us to locate the returned incomplete package from CIO. Just because they cannot provide the tracking number, it's getting more difficult for us to trace it. We even spoke with someone with higher position at the Post OFFICE but still nothing was found.

We've decided to seek help from MPNP and get an extended LOA so we can apply for a fresh package. But they refuse to give us, saying that they need the copy of the letter from CIO.

IELTS-will expire OCT 26,2015

LOA-expired already last JUL 77,2015

We are lost now and don't know what to do anymore. How can we apply for new package if there's no LOA. And how can we get the extension for the LOA if there's no letter. Huhuhuhu!

Very frustrating! :( :( :( :( :( :(

Hi Lizy,

With your status being a little complicated and expiration date coming soon, I would recommend you hire a lawyer as they can really help you with the entire process. If you can afford it, it is probably going to cost you anywhere between $3,500-$5,000 but you will get your PR faster than you can do it yourself. I had similar kind of issue with my work permit extension application and my lawyer got my work done in less than 2 weeks as they know the law better and sometimes have connections at local immigration offices. Get a consultation and see if someone can help you. It is worth it.
