Hi Lizy,

With your status being a little complicated and expiration date coming soon, I would recommend you hire a lawyer as they can really help you with the entire process. If you can afford it, it is probably going to cost you anywhere between $3,500-$5,000 but you will get your PR faster than you can do it yourself. I had similar kind of issue with my work permit extension application and my lawyer got my work done in less than 2 weeks as they know the law better and sometimes have connections at local immigration offices. Get a consultation and see if someone can help you. It is worth it.

Awwwwww That's too much money! I am not sure IF I can afford this.

Will the CIO be helpful if we'll call them and ask for the copy of the letter again? Just so we would be albe know where did the mistake arises. From there we can request extension from MPNP, to resubmit again.

We email CIO but no response. So i am thinking to just call their help desk.

I kind of have a feeling that something biiig is coming for us inlands who haven't received MR's yet.. Maybe we'll get everything together, MR, PCC, RPRF.. Once they touch our files it will go so fast :D ;D :P it's been already more then 6 months since they received my file and the processing time is 15 months and as far as I see mostly they give PR after 10-12 months.. So let's wait to see if we're lucky as evrybody else ;D ;D

i also think that cic may check all the other things first, like background, education, criminal and so on. after all these done, they will issue a MR with IP together. most of appliciant receive PPR for 10 month even less. just my guess, hope everyone go fast

Hi,

I have just recently received LOA from MPNP. I want to apply for cic, so
1. Where they say do not send original docs, send just copies.... Do these have to be notarized and attested or just regular photocopy?
2. They have specified not to send any extra docs. But nowhere in the doc checklist have they asked for work experience or educational docs.., so i should not send that?
3. Can i send Police clearance later... And just submit the rest of my application now?

Senior members who hav sent their application please advise and help. Thank you.

I think he/she is an outland applicant, maybe that's why it is this fast.

Hi I have update on my case:

Last night I called CIC help desk and ask for assistance on my LOST INCOMPLETE PACKAGE. Asked them on how to start again with the new application as it cannot be find in the post office and the reason for returning it back is unknown.

I tried to ask him what made it INCOMPLETE, and the customer representative was very helpful... Without a UCI number, he still helped me. He asked for my full name, birthdate and email address, verified those and he revealed my mistake! I missed to sign the SCHEDULE-4 form, my negligence! Grrrrr!

So he advised me to send a package again using the updated FORMS now from the CIC website.

But my question is:

"WILL IT BE OK TO SEND AN EXPIRED LOA (dated July 27,2015) BECAUSE I'VE READ ON SOME POSTS THAT CIC LOCKED-IN THE DATE ALREADY ON THE SYSTEM"

The officer cannot give me concrete answer on this, and just advise me to pass the whole package again. Lucky I have copied all the pages I passed before.

Anyone here who has the same case as mine? Will this LOA can still work?

More power to all!!!

I think you should contact your province and explain your situation and they can give you precise information about your next action. I personally think you should get a new valid LOA and send it with your package because CIC already returned your application to you and it means it is not in CIC anymore. They only recorded your previous application's returning reason and nothing more.

Good Luck.
