I got same answer. I don't understand how long we have to wait day by day so frustating.

thats really ridiculous!! they only work like half month in December due to holiday season,,so our papers possibly reach 2yrs???holy crap!!

But I still have problem, our passports are on process of renewal, and I don have them yet, CIC only give 30 days. What should I do?

good day ladyseoseono,

passport should be valid for 12 months from the date Final request of passport is asked. this is based on the PPR email i received.

so, its better that you renew your passport and your dependents as well before Immigration sends a PPR. and once you have your new passport. have it updated thru the inquiry webform of cic website.

I want to ask you, so now I got my PPR, then if I received my new PP, should I still need to update CIC bout it?or send them straight with the email of PPR?thanks in advance

congrats lady I think after re medical they are taking 3 months to give ppr. I think u received remedical july19 right? you can call to cic they will give extra time to send passport one of my friend did.

Congrats! So if it is true ppr is issued three months after re medical, then I need to wait til November...

For jay80 also it took 3 months based on these 2 guys i'm thinking after remedical cic issuing ppr closer to 3 months.

you know its funny.. i got an email from CPCO(PPR) and mycic account message on the same day almost same time,when i checked my cic account the only changes was the background check from not needed at this time to in progress. final is not started.. so i think they are not really updated.

Looks like the update is way slower than what is happening in the office
