CIC application sent on Dec 7th
File Number received on Feb 24th

Oh,no! 5 years ago? So what's the status of your application now? No progress for 5 yrs?

I came here under study permit back in 2011, completed my masters in 2014, worked part time at the university for several months, took a job for repairing cars on the road, stayed frustrated for several months and 2015 finally gifted me with a job. AINP took about 8 months and now 2016, I am waiting on CIC. I would say that's enough process for 5 years

File Number & UCI received on March 04th

Email states: "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2015/12/04."

They did not mention whether they found my application to be complete and that it is eligible for further processing!
