I have applied in December 2015, received acknowledgment in March 2016, done medical on November 10, 2016. After that no response at all. It has been 4 months since CIC received my medical. Need to know how much CIC take for PPR after medical?
My work permit is going to expire in July 2017 which makes me worry.
Any suggestions?

MR to PPR was 3 months 2 weeks for me. Everyone else is around 3-4.5 month. You are still within regular timeframe.

If you are unsure, you can request GCMS or just call up. if you've passed 16 months since application, they are obligated to tell you the currency status

I have received PPR on April 19, 2017, and I landed on April 21st,2017 through Niagara Rainbow bridge. Landing process was smooth and quite and Thank God I am a Permanent resident of Canada now. Overall process time period for PR is around 16 months for my case. Waiting time for PR card is 2 months as I was told by immigration officer during my landing at Canada border.

I also did same thing and send them a new courier with new photo specification. Write all personal details and when your app got delivered and who recieved it and your UCI number as well.

My application was delivered today and signed by Mike. I would have to send off another courier tomorrow as I don't think my photo spec meets the standards they requested
