Hi!
BC PNP Here I submitted my application last November 27, 2015 and CIC received my application last December 2, 2015. Please add me to your timeline. Many thanks.

And I have a question with regards to the photo specs. I downloaded the forms last October including the photo requirement 35X45 but when I went back a day before I submitted my application they changed the photo specs to 50X70. But still i submitted the old requirement because the photos of my wife and kid it came from overseas if we re do it again its a waste of time so I decided to submit the old req. is there anyone here has the same issue with me? what did you do? advice please because I am terrified that they gonna send it back my application. many thanks.

Hi forum mates,

Please advise....

Would anyone happen to know how I would send a set of pictures that follows the new size requirements to CIC if I still don't have an AOR or any reference UCI # and application EP00.... number yet? Would that be possible?

The new picture size requirements and new form were not yet available on line during the first week of November, 2015 (the time I submitted my documents to CIC). I still followed the previous requirements.

I just want to avert any possible delays.

hi i have the same issue with you as per advice of the people that I talked too they told me to wait the file number first because there's a lot of people applying for pr so the officers has no time to search your file in the queue. either they will send it back or they will give you a file number and you will receive a letter if they need a new photos.I know the feelings, I feel the same too but keep praying everything will be fine for us.

No you don't need to send originals..just send notarized attested photocopies

Thanks.

Another thing..for forms on the document checklist that are not applicable to our application, are we still going to submit and put NA on each field?

Hi carllette,

That's just what we can do for now... let's pray they consider the size of our submitted photos... since we're caught in between the transition of the change in photo sizes..

... good luck to all of us...

Hi I had similar issue but I had to submit new sets of new photos after o submitted my initial application. I attached a letter to explain why I'm submitting updated photos and the timeline of my initial application submission and the updated photos is just one week. I hope they will be able to find my application and include that in it

Hello Mjmi....
You should not worry at all, may be ups has something wrong with their system. Because as i have came to know from various forums that cic never return you application ny courier service, instead they use ordinary mail service...and in case they return your application you have plenty of time to send them back with correction, as i assume your loa might be expiring in May..but i dont think the email ups have sent you is regarding your application..

hi sartaj
thanks for your reply...your correct the ups has a system error they added me to the auto email..but it worried me a lot... hoping for us to have aor soon..good luck and god bless to all of us

Hello
I have a question about Documents needed for PR after PNP approved . Is it must to attach Birth Certificate with file. I think I misplaced my certificate... Can I attach a photocopy if I find or I have a copy of Birth Certificate translation attested by notary... But this is a copy of transportation not the original translation... Will this work?

Newwibe:

You may use the "Case Specific Enquiry" and attach that certificate. They (the CIC) will hopefully reply to you via e-mail saying "the document is attached to ur application".... That may take few weeks though!

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Then follow up with a phone call to make sure everything is in order.

Hope that helps!

Hi everyone!

Just a scenario: I don't have AOR email from CIO yet. CIO received my application DEC-03,2015

I asked an agency (they require some payment, $20.00 as I remember) that they can help me check the status of my application within 45days.

I received the email from this agency and the DETAILED INFORMATION of my application or GCMS (GLobal Case Mngt System).

And I was surprised that it already has:

UCI/PARTY ID: T000000000000 (T followed by 12 numbers)
APPLICATION#: XEP00000000 (XEP followed by 8 numbers)

Does this mean that my application is ON PROCESS? Shocked I checked ECAS but nothing, maybe because AOR is not sent to me yet?

Please if anyone same experience as mine, please lighten me up!

Thanks in advance!

Hello lizzy,

According to my knowledge i will tell you UCI number is always of 8 digits ans no alphabet in that. Like you said your uci is 10 digits that's weired. But you can still wait for other people to reply on this. But i never heard of any agency that can seek information regarding your file from cic.

Hi Param,
Yeah! I also know that UCI has 8digits on it, 0000-0000 like the returned package I have then there's a handwritten UCI on it.

But this one is strange! FYI the email I received was also from the CIC, with their office letterhead,

CITIZENSHIP and IMMIGRATION CANADA
GCMS Information REquest: Application
APPLICATION #: XEP00000000

and all the details shown below.

You can visit this link www.visafile.info

This is where I paid them to check my application status. They replied to me more than 35days after.
