On June received notification that they accepted our medicals for visas done on July, 2015, ECAS changed to medicals received
No Background check started yet and its 15th month now. Ordered gsms

I'm Oct 8 and my background check justt changed to in progress. so yes, its very normal unfortunatley.

guys i have one question..
I received ppr email and after half an hour i received another email stating please use this letter if you or any of your accompanying dependents are currently residing in india.
So my spouse is there so she submitted passport with this letter.
Now in first email they said if u cannot submit your passport in canada then email to cpc-ctd about that and they can change the stamping office for me or my spouse...
But i already got that letter so i didnt email them about changing the stamping office for my spouse in india..
Do i have to email them to change ??
Confised cuz already got the another email together...
Hopefully not cuz i didnt email them and sent passport with that letter to india...

No , you don't need to email them. Just send her passport through vfs india. I did same thing for my wife. She got her stamped passport back in 5 business days.

No , you don't need to email them. Just send her passport through vfs india. I did same thing for my wife. She got her stamped passport back in 5 business days.

Finally I have received PPR today (05 Jan, 2017).
There was "Decision Made" on Ecas on Wednesday (04 Jan, 2017).
