np. no I did not receive anything at first.. after a month or so, I only called them and asked if they received my documents and also made a case specific inquiry to check and then they replied that they received them.

We are in the same boat.. Oct. 5th, 2015 applicant here. Background changed to in progress on Jan. 5th, 2017. No news yet. I think if they ask for additional information such as supervisor name, resume and etc. then at least you should be ready for at least 20 months processing time... lets hope...
