Guys, when you say PNP file received by CIO do you receive any email confirmation for that or is it just through tracking your courier? Because according to DHL my file was recieved 4 days ago, however i didn't receive any confirmation from CIC. I am speaking about paper based application

NO they will not send any email..but they will send you a email for your file number.

Hi All,

After I have sent some documents (they asked for resume, supervisor name, and list of publications) which CIC requested almost 40 days ago, MyCIC application is not updated yet. It only says "Provided" in the document request filed. I received my GCMS file, and my location is JW00***, the same as updated by and assigned to fields. I think this means it is at under review of some officer right?

what is the group name that appear in your gcms notes?
mine is:

August 7 applicant
Assigned to JW00205 (as most of people here)
Group name: JW -26
Group Number 1-9Rz....

really at this stage they ask you for that information?
maybe is in final review or something...

is your security check done already?

group no. 2 MOVF11N

Also my due date is changed from 22nd jan 2017 to 1st dec.2016.

One of my friends friend sep 1wk applicant got his ecas updated. Says: decision made.
He didn't get ppr email yet. So it's almost that time now I guess.
