We are in Canada 3 years exactly, they didn't extend our working visas to a bridging ones so since 5th of April we are a 6-month visitors (but that is a completely different story & drama!).
We got clearance certs from our country's just before we left, so they are dated in march 2013.
We rang police department in Calgary, they said they never did or even were not asked for certs like that!
Should we get new (up to date) clearances from our countries (although we didn't leave Canada since they were issued)? Should we get ones from Canada? How would you get them, if yes?
The "lovely & helpful" Call Center lady said, in our situation we don't need to send anything... I simply don't trust her! "Very nice" people working there...
Thanks guys!
Yes you need to get new police clearance from your home country and other countries that you spent 6 months stay.
