What my analysis (and acc. to many others too..) is that i think CIC has changed some process to finalzie the PR applications..like earlier they used to send medicals rite after AOR, then Security and Background, and then PPR. But now it looks like after AOR they do Security and Background check (this might be the reason i saw CIC asked some candidates to submit Police certificate clearence etc. while they are still waiting for their MR), Medical, and then PPR.

May be i am wrong, but i totally believe in it that this is how CIC evaluating the current applicantions.
What do u say...?

So yeah i beleive they will get their PPR request soon once they sent out their Medicals.

From what we observed here, inland apps gets MR at last, after security and background, and outland apps get MR first, then the rest follows.

But I, too, believe they are changing internal procedure to speed up processes. AOR was 3 months in 2016Q1, and now it's about 8-10 weeks.

Thanks for your reply. I hope they must be working out. I have seen those police finger print request posts too. So Ye I think you must be right.

At least you are inland and have a better idea of how long your application will take to complete. Rest of us are out land and we have to wait it out before we can start our new journey in Canada, this results in putting our life "on hold" while we wait it out.

Our timelines are very similar, it will be interesting to hear when you get MR and PPR.

I am still waiting for MR and PCC requests (as I did not submit these with my application). Then only after this PPR. You are one step ahead of me my friend.

We will definitely meet once we are in Canada. I am settling in Manitoba but I am sure I will be traveling the country for holidays/business so we will meet up somewhere, sometime. I intend to stay on this forum even after receiving PR to pay it forward to other applicants as has been done for me.

A year or two ago you have been in the clouds to be at the "stuck waiting for ppr stage". Hang in there ramyfathalla, the end (new beginning) is in sight, keep the faith my friend :D ;D :P

Nothing new here....

But my friend applied CIC at June 29 2015,AOR received at Sep 23 2015, he got updated at online application status, say need more document at Mar 31 2016.
CIC request him to summit the police check, because when he applied CIC, his agent doesn't ask him to submit that.
Although CIC ask him for more document but he still not receiving MR yet.

From this information, I guess CIC already start process the cases for June whole months
So for us, Sep application, maybe have to wait two more months to get MR. :( :( :(

How kind you are my friend Druce ;) ;) ;)
I am sure you will get your MR very very soon , if I am an officer at CIC I would give you Canadian citizenship without processing cause of your kindness and helpfulness to others.
Thank you for your nice words same to you my friend :-* :D

Application inland, saskatchewan provincial nominee. Application received in Sydney Oct 16th, 2015. Got letter saying is in process Jan 23rd, 2016. Application is for both my husband and I. Yesterday I got medical request and my husband didn't. Is that weird? He is the main applicant. Are they going to request police clearance after this? How long more do we have to wait to get our pr?

Hi Karlaplus,
Are you express entry applicant? If then 6 months. If paper based application 15 months.
If you are paper based pnp applicant I would say you are so lucky. Medical request is overdue since mid June inland applications.
Not sure why they didn't send MR for main applicant. Let's wait for senior members reply I would personally suggest you to apply for pcc from all applicable countries and send in advance to CIC.

Currently CIC is cleaning up the files till April 2015 applicants and MR has been issued for the first week of June 2015 applicants only. Hopefully till the end of April 2016, CIC will issue MR for all June 2015 applicants.

I am June 29th applicant and AOR received in sept 2015. Still waiting for MR.

HaHa, I would have loved it if you were a CIC officer!

It is only a pleasure my friend. Pay it forward, keep the faith !
