But my credit card got charged today! No AOR YET!

ECAS stands from Electronic Client Application Status. This on-line service allows Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) clients to view securely the status of their immigration and/or citizenship application(s) on-line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; anytime, anywhere. (Google answer)

Yes, basically you can know all the updates regarding your application from authorized sources. Search for ecas in Google. Log in with uci no, or application no, etc and get updates.

Yeah, i too have the same concern. I wish no body get their files returned.
