PNP- PR ( CIC applicants SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER 2015)

I don't know if you guys have noticed this. But these days, when you call CIC regarding the status. If the application has not crossed 16 months of processing, they just tell you to wait till that. And they don't actually tell you where the application is at.

Even if you ask them specifically, they don't tell you anything unless the application has crossed 16 months.

It has always been like that. Some are kind enough to look at your files, many others don't

The two agents I talked to recently were very rude. No luck to reach a nice enough agent.

At another thread an AUGUST APPLICANT mentioned that it took him 2 days to get PPR after "DECISION MADE" status changed.

my things troubled up.. I applied for work permit extension already, I book a hotel (non refundable) travelling to Calgary for passport renewal because I am not expecting anything in December, my passport will be expiring in Aug 2017 so I just wanna make sure if I get PPR (February worst expectation) my passport is more than 6months validity.. But yes am so thankful that atleast I knew now that my PR is going okay. Thank God so much.

i checked my ecas it says decision made. i don't know when it got updated. Till last Friday it was showing in progress.
does anybody know how long for ppr?

It depends.. maybe 2 days, 2weeks to 2 months..
I think they just updated everyone whos application has been done and passed to avoid crashing their call center thousands of phone calls everyday.
gave us the idea that decision has been made so now its just waiting game again to how long we will get the PPR email.. It's great though, feeling great after all we knew we are almost there. Thankful enough. We are all wishing to get it soon for sure.
