I really hope that CIC processes applications faster coz as of now the processing times for AOR are upto 4 months which is insane.

You are not alone. I am with you in the same boat. I got AOR on 5 of May. My wife and me have together in total 9 police certificates. Does it mean that officers from CIC are going to make their requests to that 9 countries? Any idea? How many police certificates do you have? Thanks

I only needed 1, yes I think CIC would be making the request for Police cert for all 9 countries.

I got my AOR in May but my status has been stuck at " background check needed " : "in progress". I needed background check from a country which required an official request from CIC. Anyone else currently in the same boat?

Background check will in progress for few months and then turn back to not needed, when it's closer to issue PR, background check will back to in progress again.

Congratulation to all of you ! my question is that SINP criteria regarding language requirement is less then CLB-07 for OID applicants of all skills paper based while for federal skilled program it must be CLB-07 for Skill-A and others . My question is from you is that is there any provincial nominee need requirement to must language score of CLB-07 when apply to federal forms after nomination. Please let me know must reply and also share your experience???

I think CLB 4 is sufficient. I am facing the same problem. Cic returned back my paper app. Due to ielts expiry.

Hello Friends,
All those people who have got File Transfer to NDVO in the last 2-3 months can come together and discuss our timelines/File process. As I have posted earlier also that I have made a a Whatsapp group of people who applied to CIC after May 2016 . And luckily many of us have had file transferred to New Delhi Visa Office. So once again I invite more people with NDVO connections to join us.
