I had sent copy of our petition to one of the Liberal government MP. His secretary replied today that this issue will be brought into MP's attention.

I just called CIC about my application.

I`m an inland 16th July applicant with my spouse. They requested documents from me, and because FBI is so slow I could only submit the last PCCs the end of July 2016.
My application is on hold since their last request and the guy said it will remain "On Hold" until an agent comes back to my application. So that means my files are sitting there and no one even touched them since the 30th of July.

I really hope they jump on my application soon as I will reach 15 month mid October.

Which number did you call? whenever I call they only tell me to call them back after 6 months from AOR...

Thanks for the reply yogikaka, i was just curious as you know that VFS collects passport in India on behalf of Canadian embassy, and if they don't see the name of the Passport submitter in the PPR email, they might create issues.

They will not create any issue. I have similar situation like you, VFS knows about this.

application got to cic on August 14 --- got medical request on may 31 --- Background change to in progress this morning( Sept 30) ... PPR coming soon

My Wife submitted her passport at VFS, and it reached Singapore already. Currently VFS tracking shows under process.

While submitting they said, it is around 30 days to get back passport again from Singapore. But I am expecting before 30 days :)

Don't send your work permit with your passport, you will need work permit at the time of landing.

No, Work Permit is not required to send.

You only need to send your passport, 2 pictures and the letter of instructions you received.

You may also add a hand drafted letter to thank or inform CIC if your dependent is going to be submitting information in home country.
