PNP - PR - April-May-June 2015 Applicants!

So I got separate email instructions for my dependent, but still in the email it just mentions my UCI and Application number. It does not mentions my spouse name anywhere. Would this be a problem when she submits her Passport in India? Anyone has information regarding this?

I have question about my background check. I already passed medical. So when my medical will turn into not needed at this time from in progress.

I cannot clearly say an exact timeframe unfortunately. But personally I noticed that they are starting background checks close to 13th month from date of application.
I applied on sep 2015. Medical request on July 2015. Background checks not yet started. I know a few of applicants in September same as me no Background started yet. I am hoping by October 1-2 week for my checks to get on to in process. Then it probably takes 30-45 days and then mostly they update my Cic saying not needed at this time. From then on you can expect PPR anytime. Please Correct me if I am wrong

I received my passport back after PR visa . I haven't done landing yet, please suggest..

Is this possible to go back home without doing landing here and use PR visa while coming back and do landing at airport . as my current status in Canada is Work permit and donot have Temporary resident visa.

Donot want to wait forPR card to go back home .

Hi Raman

Both you and your wife have same application number , though UCI numbers are different, so cic can track UCI for both of you from the application number.

I just called CIC about my application.

I`m an inland 16th July applicant with my spouse. They requested documents from me, and because FBI is so slow I could only submit the last PCCs the end of July 2016.
My application is on hold since their last request and the guy said it will remain "On Hold" until an agent comes back to my application. So that means my files are sitting there and no one even touched them since the 30th of July.

I really hope they jump on my application soon as I will reach 15 month mid October.

I have one friend, he applied on June 29, 2015 for CIC, yesterday when he checks his status online, there said decision made!
That was exactly 15 month for the whole CIC process.
Congrats to him and whoever received their PPR!!!

Yes! I am so jealous!!! For me as Sep applicant still have to wait another 2 months to reach 15 month CIC process time.

I have a quick question about landing process guys. Please help.

May I know which documents I have to carry with me for landing process at North Portal border?

I am sure officer is going to ask for current WP.

My situation is that I have 2 work permits now. Long story in short for 2 work permits is I have applied both paper based and online. Once I saw in MyCIC account that my online WP application was approved, I called to cic and ask them to cancel my paper application. But somehow they didn’t cancel my application and issue me other work permit. So I had received 2 work permits within one week in my mail. One of them is Canada wide open WP (online application) and other one is SK open WP (paper).

Please suggest which work permit I should show to border officer upon request for landing process.

take both just in case, if i were you, I would show the Canada Wide Open WP

check the issue date. The one issued at a later valid should be the valid one since it replaces the previous wps

Thanks for the reply yogikaka, i was just curious as you know that VFS collects passport in India on behalf of Canadian embassy, and if they don't see the name of the Passport submitter in the PPR email, they might create issues.
