Then do you guys really think we should expect ppr december or next year?

My opinion is that the quota for PNP depends on the provinces when they approve a Nomination. It wouldnt make sense that a province continue to approve nominations once the quota has been met. That's my view of this.

I totally agree with you!
If that is the case, we wouldnt expect our ppr till next year.
Holly..:.

Hey guys, February March applicants are getting document requests. It means they are still working on files, its just a matter of time i guess :-[

lol I thought I have pasted it already http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=1038699

I know about that targets for Economic Inmigrants, but the question is.....how many have they got so far?? It doesnt say anywhere.

That was published on March.....Date modified: 2016-03-08

So I dont think that's the current number of PR delivered but only targets. What we need to know is if they have reached those numbers already

it does ;) check here:
http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset?keywords=CIC
see how many have been left after June. :)
and the left amount include both ee pnp and paper based I believe :P

If I am not wrong, it says 28.853. That's combining Provincial territorial nominees principal applicants and spouses and dependants.

plus ee pnp. several thousands. the line below ;)

I have chosen this one.

Permanent resident admissions by category (Recent Quarters)

and it shows under Economic immigrants:

Entrepreneurs - p.a.
Entrepreneurs - s.d.
Self-employed - p.a.
Self-employed - s.d.
Investors - p.a.
Investors - s.d.
Start-up Business - p.a.

Skilled workers - p.a.
Skilled workers - s.d.
Canadian Experience Class - p.a.

Skilled trades - p.a.

Provincial/territorial nominees - p.a.
Provincial/territorial nominees - s.d.
Live-in caregivers - p.a.
Live-in caregivers - s.d.
Caregivers - p.a.
Caregivers - s.d.

where do you see Express entry as another category??

I have even checked by months....

Economic immigrants, under Provincial/Terrotorial Nominees (it includes express entrey and paper based. There is no two groups).

January 3122
February 4323
March 5682
April 5376
May 4819
June 5531

total so far...28853

What you can see by months is that they have pushed the delivery of Refugees. In January and February they went crazy with over 10.000. But then March was only 2600. April 3000, and then they started to work harder. 3700 on May, and on June 4691. I looks like July and August and Sept they must be working even harder to meet their political promise.

:)

Still, there is quota left. That's supposed to be June 2016. the quota for the whole year is 47000.

It says : Provincial Nominee Program 34,286
Non Express Entry 28,029
Express Entry 6,257

That's still 12714. I would be worried If I had applied on November or December, but considering most of us applied on June and July......and we are hitting the processing time of 15 months....I am pretty sure we are getting PR before the end of this year. I just dont know when.......

Still a lot of gaps yet to be filled. so nothing to worry about it. everyone will have a slot.

Hi Guys, I encourage to not look at those numbers because it makes no sense.

Why it makes no sense ? - These quota numbers are looked at before sponsoring someone. If the quota is reached, province stops taking applications.

Example: CIC sets PR quota for Provincial Nominees for 2016 as 1000 seats. 200 for BC, 200 for Ontario, etc.

BC PNP or any other province will only accept and nominate/make decision on 200 people; Whoever are rejected, they accept more based on that.

After 200 seats are occupied and approved for nomination, BC PNP stops taking applications, hence updates there portal just like they did in January.

I hope this makes sense.

it doesnt really matter. As I said, I think we will get it. The only problem is that another week has passed and nothing new came up. I really hope to see some fuking movement next week.....

So have we determined that they are more focused on other streams which is the reason for the delay?
