it has been 3 weeks and CIC has not replied to a request from my local MP office. They are supposed to get back in 5 business days... this is insane.

Hey guys,

It has been a while I haven't posted in the forum, so just wanted to drop a quick note to see how things are. Also a friend of mine applied at the end of July/early August and is still waiting for his PPR. I just want to know whether all the July applicants got their PPR. By now the first couple fo weeks of September applicants should have had their PPR as most people got their PPR within 1 year.

What's the current situation? Is CIC taking longer than a year to give PPR and do you know why such a delay is taking place?

If you stop to reading 5 or 10 previous pages, you realize that only 2 people of July have received their PRs the rest are still waiting without any explanation from IRCC...

I didn't get a PPR email. Just the COPR straight to my mail box.

Hi guys, I am June 8th applicant. I gave phone calls to CIC two times after 15 month passed. Both time I was told to wait and I was also informed that processing speed varied on specific cases.
I was requested to supply additional material on July 11th this year, unfortunately, they told me that the material had not been touched yet.

As far as I know, I have heard that when they request additional documents, the day they request it, they kind of put a due date of 2/3 months and they dont come back to it until then. That's what I heard. Might not be accurate.

Okay, I got you, first time to know that COPR is a reprintable and scanable file even you lost it, thus we don't have to care if it's original one from IRCC.

My opinion is that the quota for PNP depends on the provinces when they approve a Nomination. It wouldnt make sense that a province continue to approve nominations once the quota has been met. That's my view of this.
