See? That's what I dont understand. You are told by your MP office that july applicants will have to wait end of October, but another guy says his MP told him by the end of the year. I dont get it.

Unless some people are not telling all the truth , there is something weird here.

I think that CIC might be lying. I think some MP offices might be lying so you dont bother them anymore. I think maybe, some applicants who actually are told that ''their'' applicantions will take longer, they make us believe that all applications will take longer so we all complain as a group. I dont know.

I hate the lack of information from CIC.

Could you Cool_dude_Canada please give us more information about your MP? Because considering what we have been hearing these days, I would sign right now to get my PR by the end of October, seriously.

i am very frustrated with the entire processing, its just v v unfair.. but no choice other than waiting ..

I did pretty much similar thing like you, I don't know what I can do either! I met MP. Email emergency inquiry 3 times but finally told me no timeframe for any application. Just Emphasiz one thing I prepared my documents very well didn't get extra requirements from IRCC but still nothing, my friend get it within 12 months.

One person mentioned MP told can expect PR end of Oct, I personally think that just for 15 months processing time from agent, but actually when you reach 15 months they will tell you wait again, and no time fram, they just postpone what ever they can! they always have their way to say something! We have no choice except waiting!

SO Could not stop myself today, I called the cic call center, as French is my first language so obviously I choose to speak to a French speaking agents.... lol the first thing he asked me was R U FROM QUEBEC..LOL
What!!!!.....................ONLY PEOPLE FROM QUEBEC CAN SPEAK FRENCH..
ONCE I SAID NO AM FROM SK.. He was so rude and did not even asked me about my name and uci...etc
He was just like u need to wait for 15 months I cant do anything for you..
I just wanted to know if everything was fine...not even asked for When r we going to receive MR..
he again repeated Call back after 15 months..


That's makes me really mad and crazy cause they treat us like a shitttt... cause they know we kind of depend on cic.. brefff
IT WOULD BE MUCH MORE BETTER IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN A REFFUGEEE....

Tomorrow is my 15th month... I just called the mp office they called the cic about my application.. And everything is passed just waiting for the final review... She said that if i didnt hear from cic till 1st week of december ill call her again... But she thinks it will not take that long.. Lets hope for the best...

I hope it doesnt take that long Julyana. I think she told you to wait three months because they dont want to get phone calls everyday. So I want to be optimistic and think that you and we all will get decision made sooner than that.

Call tomorrow to CIC and let's see what they tell you.

Just to give you some hope guys:
Few months ago, I applied for TRV online for my family and I (everyone separate application).
They gave it to me on the next day, my kids after one week, but not my wife.
I phoned them several times after the 8 days processing time. At the beginning they told me some application takes one or two days more, etc. By the end of two weeks I phoned again, they told me this file will take long time, do not call again before two months!!!
By the end of the same day, she got the TRV.
