I am from india . Can i apply trv online ?

Are you in Canada or outside?
If in Canada, then sure you can apply online.
If outside you need to check the online wizard.
You can apply online from most of the countries in the world, I think.

Just to give you some hope guys:
Few months ago, I applied for TRV online for my family and I (everyone separate application).
They gave it to me on the next day, my kids after one week, but not my wife.
I phoned them several times after the 8 days processing time. At the beginning they told me some application takes one or two days more, etc. By the end of two weeks I phoned again, they told me this file will take long time, do not call again before two months!!!
By the end of the same day, she got the TRV.

thanks for sharing. I do believe that although processing times are increasing, I do think that it's not as bad as they say sometimes on the phone. They are just tired of people calling to check their applications status.

I hope it doesnt take that long Julyana. I think she told you to wait three months because they dont want to get phone calls everyday. So I want to be optimistic and think that you and we all will get decision made sooner than that.

Call tomorrow to CIC and let's see what they tell you.

For TRV online applications, after getting approved, you need to send the passport to Ottawa.
To apply, log in to your cic account, then click apply to: "Visitor visa, study and/or work permit".

Called CIC on September 8 and the agent told me that the application is waiting for the final review and may expect the PR anytime because 15 months has passed. Also send IRCC Web Form on September 7th and today got this reply from CIC. Very Frustrating.

Hello everyone i really need a lot of help
I am going home for my wedding which comes on first week of november
I was hoping to get pr before that.But you all know what is going on .
My work permit ends Dec 1. I did renew it figuring i will get pr before,( and i was cheap, need a lot of money for wedding)
I am waiting for my employer to give number( employer compliance)
with current work permit processing time (35 days plus postal ), i will be home when i get new work permit.

Can i get a visa in India with my new work permit?
All i can see is visitor visa. Do you think i will loose my status i get a visitor visa from india?
I am stressed out. please help. please provide appropriate link for this question. I tried checking online and iwill call cic tomorrow.

Are you going to apply for close work permit?
If NO, then you can apply now, hopefully you will get before 1st December. In case it gets delayed, use one of your friends mailing address and tell him to courier it in India after receiving from CIC, and then you can apply for VISA from India.

If YES, are you waiting for your employer for any letter or something? how long it will take to get?

Worst case, do you have VISA until 1st December? If yes, go India and come back before 1st December and apply for work permit before 1st December. Border officer might ask you, your WP is expiring soon, why are coming...

Yes, you can apply for VISA from India as well...but you have to have a valid WP during that time based on what you will be applying.
