Hey everyone, could you confirm if it is ok to do medical in advance? I spoke to the Dr and he said it's ok but just thought to ask you all for reassurance.

I know some people already do upfront even there's still no MR, all they did is send a proof of medical exam after getting the request.

i was thinking to do the same , to do upfront . doctor said that is ok , but i dont know what cic think about that

Any update June Applicants?

I would like to know, do i need to pay RPRF for my kid as well? Actually in letter CIC mentioned pay for primary applicant and wife only. Please guide me.

I saw many cases in this forum share that they did medical upfront and all are fine with CIC.

Observe from the other threads
- Inland Feb applicants are now getting PPR
- Outland Apr applicants in NDVO are also getting PPR

No any news about Manila VO :(

OK TNX A LOT ,I Hope that will not be problem for CIC

No worry! Sending the documents by mail is definitely fine!! At first I thought maybe upload documents online should be faster than mail. but you said it took only 3 work days by mail. It sounds by mail is really fast as well!!

I know some people do this. Here is my point of view:

1) CIC explicitly asks us not to send through ANY documentation not requested by them.
2) Whilst they will probably accept it, it causes an administrative backlog at their offices.
3) There is NO proof that this will speed up you application. In fact, it might delay your, and everyone else, application due to the additional administration this causes.
4) From the date you have done medical, you have one year to enter Canada. If you do your medicals now and you only receive PR Visa at the end of the year, you will only have a couple of months to land in Canada. I have read about numerous cases where the applicants only had 30-60 days to land. This causes huge stress if you do not reside in Canada. Some people then do the landing, wait for PR Card and then return to their home countries to finish their unfinished business.
5) If your application takes longer than the year from which you did the upfront medical, you will need to do your medical again.

Druce, there are always extreme circumstances as you described. I will just be going for the medical, but ovbiously wont be sending them the results until they ask for it. So we are not sending any additional documents. Its just about being proactive. Whoah, if my medical is 1 year valid that is way more than enough. I applied 8 months ago and most people get their PR within 10-12 months.

I agree with Druce. I highly recommend against doing upfront medical under PNP stream. Just wait until they request it like everyone else did. Again, as Druce mentioned, you risk delaying your and everyone elses application as CIC officers get a bigger administrstive burden trying to organize files they haven't requested.
