Hi htokyo - I understand you're outland, are you able to tell me from where and if you're PNP - EE? Just curious Thnx

My case is just a normal PNP (not EE). VO Manila

I observe that one might receive AOR/MR very soon but then has to wait longer for DM/PPR. In the end, total processing time matters

Got RTPR fee request on Dec 30th and sent copies of passports also. Applied May 2015, AOR July 2015..fingers crossed it moves along fast( we already done upfront medicals and they are showing as rcvd in ECAS.

HWGA, looks like we have the same timeline. Are you an inland PNP applicant?

My timeline:
BC PNP received: April 23, 2015
PR application sent: May 19, 2015
PR application received: May 22, 2015
EP: July 30, 2015
In Process: July 31, 2015
MR: December 23, 2015
Medicals done: December 28, 2015
RFPR: December 30, 2015 (got reminder email and paid same day)

ECAS currently says "In Process" still. No update to Medicals Received and now just awaiting request for Passport

Has anyone done their background check with fingerprints through RCMP ? I know its not specifically mentioned in the reminder email, but I guess we have to do it as well.

You dont need to submit these unless the specifically ask for them - they sent a request specially for them in sept.

Okay so the 30 days deadline is only for getting your medical done right? And also how long is getting like the lab tests and the XRAY processed? I'm trying to estimate should I change my appointment day to make it before 30 days

I think that we should get everything done in 30 days.
Thats what i am assuming as i have 18th Jan appointment and hoping that doctor uploads everything in 2-3 days.

If you are inland then i would suggest just do it. it is not mandatory unless they ask.i did it in advance
just for safe side. you can go nearest police station as well. commissionaire and police department both
do RCMP FINGERPRINT. police dept little cheap ($30.00) other one $65.00. the reason why difference is
this fees is not regulated by federal.it may vary at each province and sections.make sure, if you go to police
station they will ask that where you want to send this certificate, Just tell your own home address ( they normally
send directly to CIC but for that your need cic letter) once you get it at our home addresss (withing 10 days)
just keep it with you and when they ask for additional doc or your back home pcc then send this one as well.
its matter of 30.00 bucks. so upto you.Again its not compulsory untill cic ask to provide.

1. For april applicants it was reminder email first and then the MR but it was vice versa for may applicants. You can send it whenever you get the email from them as i dont see it matters. i too had to send the pcc from US but was waiting from Aug and sent it last week.
2. yes as long as its by a panel physician.

Overall PnP will take up to 12 moths of processing so early medical means more waiting time after medical received.
