Hello,
I received an e-mail from Sydney office today, there has a attachment.

"THIS IS A REMINDER EMAIL - PLEASE READ EACH SECTION CAREFULLY TO SEE IF IT APPLIES TO YOUR APPLICATION."
"RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENT FEE (RPRF)
This is reminder that if your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding, you must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. "

Does this e-mail means I can pay the RPRF fee??
Thank you

Yes, pay RPRF.
Send the PCCs if you are yet to send.

So may applicants have already received RPRF request? Nice.

Also do we have to send PCC again if we send it already together with the initial package? thx

No need again.
Example, My case: I sent for one country and another one is pending. So i was waiting for this email to send the second one. So we dont need to send the one already sent and still valid for next few months. If you have fresh one then you can which will extend the validity.

Given the speed of CIC, all applicants' PCC will get expired during the process. if one person sent everything including PCC (for both here and the home country) on June 1st and now it has been 6 months already. if we get reminder letter now, we have to re-do the PCC send it again?

Thats possible that the PCC might get expired. So thats why i think that if one can get the pcc soon within next 30 days then one should so that it will have validity for one year from now. But its not easy for everyone to get it.
For example i cannot get it from FBI soon hence i will have to send the one i received in Sep. So it depends on the situation.

harirajmohan, thanks for your reply.

Do we need to send the PCC from Canada?

I remember the PR document checklist shows "Police certificates are generally considered to be valid for one year from date of issue."

I sent my PCCs with the application on May 2015 as well.

@harira

I think you are confused. I agree with ireyes too. Police certificates are valid for a year from the moment they are emitted and if you submitted those with your oroginal application then there is no need to re-send them, otherwise they would have specified.

Its still other than Canada as per instructions below. I believe they ask for it if its required as per many posts on it earlier.

As read in the Document Checklist file to be sent with the application:

"Police Certificates and Clearances
You must get a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18. You are strongly encouraged to submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, we strongly recommend that you take steps to obtain your police certificates now to avoid future delays. You must be ready to submit them when requested by an officer.
Note: Police certificates are generally considered to be valid for one year from date of issue; therefore depending on the processing time of your application, you may be requested to submit new certificates."

It's pretty straightforward. If it's been over a year since you EMITTED your police certificates, then yes, you must send new ones. However, if say in my case I got mine EMITTED Feb 2015 from my home country and sent them as originals WITH a true certified copy translated in English with my application in May 2015, then it means I don't have to send new ones.

If someone didn't send the police certificates with the original application, the reminder email serves that purpose: to remind the applicant police certificates need to be sent before finalizing processing.

Hope this clarifies any doubts.

Done anyone knows- which option do we select in dropdown "Type of application:" while submitting case specific enquiry...
I do not see any option for inland - PNP applicants.
Thanks
