I filled my PR application on May 18, 2016 as being nominated by SINP, without Police clearance of my husband from FBI as it takes 15 weeks to get.

Any idea what time, any roughly time frame, I will get additional doc request email ?

Well, most people in this forum are from 2015, and paper based applications.

If you applied just a few weeks ago, I cant give you an estimate of when you will get doc request, but I applied in July 6th 2015 and I didnt get doc request until March 2016......so that gives you an idea.

Thank you so much for all of your help to make me wait and pass through this 1 year period. Many well-wishers were encouraging me and guiding me all the way to wait and get through this process and made me learn the process in each and every step. Thanks again to everyone.

I was worried because i had quebec pnp rejection which i thought would be an issue. Also it was rejected after 5 years waiting and had no hope and finally i got SK province's help in gaining the pnp as a last resort. Great feeling.... ;D
I was one of the applicants fighting for the limited outland quota in the opening hours on Jan 2nd 2015 which got closed in few hours of opening. Luckily got into quota and renewed my hopes to entry into Canada.

It all depends the progress of the application and in the mean time u dont have to wait untill they request u can submit bye cse.and send the original by mail as well.coz everything is vaild for 6 months or one year.

Really, two years? Are you sure it's not three? When are theylassing the new bill?

If you've stayed in Canada as a full time student for more than a year, before becoming a permanent resident, you'd get the credit of 1yr towards your citizenship application. The rule was same before the conservatives screwed it up and made it 4yrs out of last 6yrs post PR.

The bill passed 1st reading in the House of Commons and is waiting for 2nd reading. Then there is debate too. Let's hope by the end of this year it takes life.

Yes, I have not ordered any gcms notes yet.. I think I should go ahead and order it. Or is it not recommended so it does not elongate your process? ???

Spouse Upfront Medical Jan 30th
Additional Doc of spouse on Feb 10th email from Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca
Send it via paper as they told 20th feb
Reply from same email about spouse rprf fee update on march 19th
Again additional doc request with some Spouse and my relationship question answer on April 13th. From CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
Submitted after a week online this time as they mention to do.

Since then no reply from them. I Have no clue what to do next. Should I send a reminder email to them or should I wait?

Thank you . Adding spouse during the process will create delay (it happens for some and not for all). So you would need to expect delay which you cannot compare with

regular applicants situations. But its coming and with slight delay. Not a bad deal. Dont worry. Hang on for some more time.
No point in asking them on it. Order gcms to see if your elig, crim and medicals are passed.

I've been to the photographer, and the post office, and my passport photocopies are made - so everything is now on its way to Ottawa!

Just got an email to check my MyCIC - and the background check is now In Process.

After all this damned waiting, I'm still surprised this is actually happening(!)

It all depends on the visa officer and the Mexico visa office timeline. Good luck.
If you sent the form without signing we should expect some delay, for which we dont have choice for missed doc.

Follow this thread for timeline for FBI pcc. The timeline is 3-4 months - the one mentioned in the site is correct. Add 2 weeks for receiving report.

I made it hard by not applying for fsw long ago and now waited for same chance of entry hence wasted years and finally hunt for entry when all doors were closing.

I confirmed that CIC have send me this mail ensuring this is not a spam. My question is everyone gets Medical request before they their RPRF fee. but I got my RPRF before my medical request. Is that okay?

Yes , it can come before or after MR. There is no sequence for it.

SK Health card: I am planning for short landing but is there any way to manage applying health card at this visit to make things easier later?
I can manage opening one ups box for giving it in border for pr card but dont know how to manage the address proof for applying SK health card as i need to provide address proof. Any suggestion? Please let me know.
