What do you mean by "processing"? There is no processing taking place and that's because of bunch of jerks who don't do their jobs. Shame on Canada such an organization.

You know guys, CIC people don't care because they are mainly dealing with foreigners. If they had to deal with Canadians, they would have done their jobs. This means that as long as nobody is bringing this up, they will treat us as a sh*t (sorry but it is the truth).

I will try to contact CBC and bring this issue to media. Anybody who is able to do it, please don't hesitate. If CBC received calls from many people, we would have better chance to get our voice heard.

If you do not understand the word "processing" you can look it up and don't hijack and attack my post just to get your extreme message across.

On the other hand, Immigration programs has been in place since a long time ago and it has been like this since then. Processing time is posted on the website, and if you can't wait then go elsewhere. Don't act like Canada owes you your PR or you deserves one just because. If you need to de-stress then go do some exercise and don't vent on others on this forum because we are just as frustrated and we don't need more of it.

First of all, I am not hijacking your post. Second, I know what "processing" means so you don't need to tell me go and look it up in the dictionary.
Third, Canada owes me as well as I owe Canada. I am working and paying my tax so I am doing all what is asked from me. The processing time is 8 to 10 weeks. If it becomes more, they owe everybody who applied an explanation. Fourth, I am not de-stressing here. I was trying to make a point. Fifth thing and the most important thing, when I replied to your post first time, I was polite exactly opposite of you.

agree. Canada owes us a lot. i pay $20,000 tax per year but i don't have benefit from the government.

If your application reached 10 weeks or over you can send them email inquiry or call them.

Already sent email but no any response..

Fellows,

recently read a hearsay on one forum, that CIC is moving to another automatic processing system and since September the majority of officers have been attending educational courses how to handle with this new system. And it seems that from February and on the applications will be processed with increased speed.

Info from Canada inhabitants who visited immigration office in person.

P.S. Pls don't ask me about further details, I just reposted info from another forum for your reference ;)

Thanks IL-900 for the information.
Hoping all will have a response very soon! :D

OK, I guess this is kind of good news, at least there is a hope that they might speed up the process soon,

Has anyone who flie in late sep or early Oct got AOR yet?? Is Sep 17th is the latest based on all of the threads posted here?

Yes - September 17th is the latest on this thread.

The hear-say may well be speculation but i'm hoping it's true. It makes some sense. I'm beginning to consider Australia

When was the date of the last AOR rain for the ones that send the CIC application the first days of september? 8 of January?

There has to be some correlation between this delay and "EE".

It makes sense pretty well to me.

I heard that it won't be easy in Australia either but maybe good option.
