you will receive it, once CIC receive your application at Sydney and this means your application is found to be eligible.
They will sent your file number via email or the address you gave.

Is there any difference in processing time between provinces??

It looks like Ontario has been taking longer than any other provinces.

so if proccessing is 17 month and we have already done our Medicals, would we have to do them again after 12 month ? Hope not !

It looks like Ontario has been taking longer than any other provinces.

Generally there isn't but there was a Quality Audit specific to Ontario so Ontario nominees have experienced very long delays. I have observed recently that Ontario nominees are now getting AORs. Almost all the AORs announced on the forum last week were from Ontario nominees that have been backlogged

Hi Guys, Long time lurker, first time poster.

I received my BC PNP nomination in December 2014. According to the BC PNP I'm ineligible for Express Entry. I've applied for PR through the old paper system and my application was couriered to Sydney Nova Scotia last week. No AOR as yet.

I am concerned to read that some have been waiting a long time for the AOR. I was hoping I'd get this in a week or so but it appears this is unlikely to be the case, particularly for Ontario nominees.

I haven't read every single post, so I'm sorry in advance if I'm repeating questions.

1) Is there a list / google docs where you guys are tracking your dates?
2) Any idea of processing time for BC nominee PR application AOR?
3) What is the official word on processing times for inland applicants? I read 17 months somewhere here, but can't find that on any official CIC website.

Finally, money is taken out from Credit Card by CIC...anyone knows how long ideally it takes to get AOR after this stage? (OPNP, application received at CIC on August 8, 14)

I also called they said same thing

Suggestion: Anyone with over 10 weeks from courier received date, should e-mail CIC.

Hi Raider, congrats! I have sent my cic application last Sept. 22 and received by CIC September 26 and still no AOR yet.
It's already 16 weeks today.
Question: Did you send an email to them?

For those sending emails. Think of this....if your application was received by CIC prior to Sept 17th and you're a PNP everyone is in the same boat. Processing times have slowed since around sept 5th applicants. The last update prior to Raiders was sept 16th. So we've moved one day in one week. I have not seen anyone with AOR past a sept 17th CIC recvd date

Grats! I have emailed them back in November and finally received a responded from them last week saying they have received my application and file number will come in due course. My application reached CIO on September 18, so hopefully I will get mine in the next two weeks.
