why is so late now a days for AOR

Hi there

So, 4 months have been passed - still, no file number from CIO, and it seems they didn't even start to process provincial applicants In same time, other September applicants have got their Medical forms already!

I think we all need to try to call to the CIO! Maybe at least someone will reach them.
Here I'll give you the tutorial how to call to Canada for free!!! Important notice to that tutorial - you also will need some browser's VPN plugin, such as HOLA (for FireFox and Chrome and u need to switch to Canada location) or similar. If this tutorial won't work out for you, you can try to find another one as Google gives us the opportunity to call to the US and Canada for free by using Google talk (in Gmail). So, you can be on hold as long as CIC requires - call will be free!

I got my NSNP nomination in September 4th and applied for CIO reached on 17th September till now no AOR I got from them getting tensed day by day,any chance that I will get by end of this month.

on top of that my nomination getting expired on 31st March if I will not get my AOR by that time is I need to extend my nomination?

any idea & suggestion about this situation

It's obvious, isn't it? You need to call them and to ask when u'll get AOR - instructions are in the comment above!

no don't worry. The nomination should be valid by the time file reaches the CIO office. It doesnt matter if it expires after that. But to make sure call CIC and verify with them

I am in Canada. I called them many times but they always have the same answer. we don't have access to the files processed in CIO Sydney office.

Guys, it's not the case to find out about your applications. Firstly, we need to know at least some general info, for example - why there's delay in processing PNP applicants from September/October - this is what we need to know right now. I hope, call operator from CIC knows this info.

I dont think the operator would be of a great help. I tried asking then and all the do is refer me back to the email that is found on the website. I even tried sending them an email and not got any repose yet .

Hi you can still apply for wp extension using your ainp cert even if it is expired as stated on the cert. The expiry date on the cert doesnr mean you cant use it anymore. The expiry date on the cert is the last date when you can send your application to cic for PR. I called AINP and checked it myself and that's the info I got. Hope this helps. However, if you apply for wp w/o file # u should apply for closed wp.

I just have a quick question regarding payment method.

I am an AINP applicant who received the nomination in Sep and had my documents get to CIO on Oct 6th. Still no AOR yet...

My question is that it seems like CIO takes money for the app fee out of our credit card little before they give us AOR/File number. However, I made an online payment on the CIC website, attached the printed receipt to all the other docs and got the money(CAD500) right out of my credit card account even before I mailed them out.

I just wonder if I should find this unusual..

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

This is not unusual. I did the same thing. By online payment, your money is directly deposited to CIC account. So the moment you process transcation, money is shifted from your account to CIC account.

You pre-paid. several people do that too. You paid CIC even before your application arrived. In your case, money will not be taken out again before AOR. Just so you know. Last PNP applicant to have received AOR had files at CIC sept 16th
