Nope..it stopped on Sept 16. I am Sept 19 applicant. No AOR yet.

My guess is that the workers in the office are being trained for the EE process, and they are probably still finishing up with EE set up and such; thus, a huge delay on other applications.

PR Application Sent to Sydney NS: 01-Nov-2014
PR Application Received By Sydney NS: 06-Nov-2014

Haven't heard from CIC since then - no AOR so far. I know there are a lot of people who applied before me are still waiting for their AORs and File Nos.

What is the average time to get AOR?

Just being proactive here, I haven't recieved an AOR till now, and hopefully the PR the process the speed at which it is right now will go on the next year. Now my question is, my passport is expiring next year, and in case I don't receive my PR by then what is the process? And would it delay my PR processing?

My guess is your passport number and photo will most likely change and so after you have obtained your new passport you will need to update CIC with the new information. However, I'd contact CIC to clear this up tho.
