Yes, I have mentioned in my post that I have sent my file again to CIC. I haven't received my AOR yet. What was the reason to return your application?

Dear All,

I received nomination letter few days back and about to send application to CIO.

Does PNP nominee required to include IELTS with application package to CIO?

My IELTS meanwhile expired. However, as documents check list for PNP nominee, IELTS required for NOC C& D, mine is NOC B. Someone tell that valid IELTS should be attached with application package to CIO otherwise they may return back the application as incomplete.

Really confused what to do. Taking further IELTS will takes more time.


Hi Yes! u have to attached valid IELTS result with your application. Dont attach expired one, u might just be wasting your time and money sending your application coz they will just return it back to you.

What is your suggestion? What is the experiences who already send application to CIO? Please help.

Once you got the AOR, you can apply an open work permit. That means you can work in any type of jobs, not necessary to the same type as you applied PNP. Is that true?

Hi everyone, been lurking on this forum for ages but finally joined just to share my timeline so far since I know a lot of people seem to be worried about not receiving AOR yet.

Received PNP certificate in March 2014
Sent PR application to CIC in July 2014 (tracked the postage and their office received it on July 28th, 2014)
Received AOR YESTERDAY! (January 15th)

That's 24 weeks from the time the office received the application til the time they issued AOR! So hang in there guys, it seems to be moving again finally.
