But did u get any email on july 16th 2015?

yes they requested for some additional documents, and i sent those documents on July 29, 2015. CPC ottawa confirmed that they received documents

i got same lines last week, but no dm yet!

There is no reason to worry. Similar thing happened to me. They received my documents and sent me email again after that. I called them and they confirmed that they got the documents well before time but it just takes time within CIC to reach the officer processing you case, so he/she might send the email again. I told the guy on phone to open my case and confirm it for me. BTW did you sent a registered mail to CIC?

yes, it took them almost two months to answer my email, finally they answered stating that doc are received and sent to the application, but even after that they updated my ecas with that strange line and request SAME documents again! I did sent through registere mail, it's received but they only responded on email! Anyway i this is holding ppr, can't believe this is happening!

Has anyone done landing at a CIC office? Is it better than the border? Also do you get the appointment very easily?

Its easier if you are in Ottawa, no appointment needed. Its twice each months, on Tuesdays with Odd dates. Did landing couple of days back, it took 5 mins after line-up was done (didnt reach early enough). No fuss at all, they ask two typical questions (criminality and family) on CoPR before asking to initial those clauses and sign.
May be some one else can weigh in for other cities.

I am not sure, I was wondering the same thing like someone from other city can travel to Ottawa just for landing (next Odd Tuesday in this month is Aug 25 and then June 1). I had called CIC call centre and they told me to show up between 10am and 1pm. May be you can consider calling and verifying this if it suits you. I was not comfortable with getting rejection letter at US border (even if they say it doesnt matter).

I got PPR request yesterday. At the same time I will be moving and there will be address change from 21st Aug, although old address will be good till 31st Aug too. Should I give old or new address to CIC? Will it delay my visa stamping if I send address changes with PPR?

Mikjagger, my ECAS show the same messagge. We´ve been asked JUST fot medicals and premanent residence fees on August the 6th. The payment was made and the medicals are done.. I don´t know what else to do... Where do you call?????!?!

i call cic customer service, its easy to find number on google, ur gonna have to wait though at least 15-30 min to speak to an agent! My ecas was updated like that until today, and today changed to decision made! Dont know what decision is yet! Thanks

My status changed to decision made, and CPC requested for my passport and any accompanying family member. They asked to contact them if family member does not reside in Canada, or States, My question is my wife is in india , and she was in my application. I already emailed them about that, but didn't get any response yet.
Anybody had same situation , or know about this, please advise me.
