It is a critical moment so first you email and if you manage then you call them to your visa office if they allow then you go other then you take first your visa.(Its my personal view)

Thanks zafrulbd...Sent an email to CIC just now!!!

Hi Senior,

My application reached CIC today. I just realized that I forgot to mention my name in native language on background declaration from. Will this result in return of my application? Please let me know what are my options.

Thanks!

Hello Folks,

Need a bit of advice from you ppl. I am an Inland applicant and I recently received my PPR with a 30 day deadline to send the passport. But I have to leave to my home country in the next week and will be coming back after 25 days. So in theory I return adter the deadline. I can't postpone or cancel this trip (Because it's important). Do CIC accept request for extending the deadline to send the passport?? Do I email them regarding my situation??
Thanks in advance.

As the PPR must have stated that failure to send in 30 days may result in refusal. So its better you call, them and explain why you cant. And then do as cic tells you. You can contact cupcakes on this thread. i believe he/she had the same issue and got the approval to submit late.

They might ask you the new form later stage when they have to do background check on you.

Dont worry. They never update ECAS regularly or consistently. Since you are in the same batch as us, I am sure all the work is done and your app is just waiting on someone's desk to finalize and send PPR. Just give it a few more weeks. You will get it with the next batch of PPRs.

I hope you're right here. I been like 10 days since IP and I am already freaking out. Checking this forum and ECAS after every 15 mins. Can't focus on anything else.

I have an ongoing BOWP app, my wp expires tomorrow. i still got PPR on 21may. I dont think BOWP affects your PNP at all.
Likely with all the applications going DM, they are overloaded with passports and will only send out more PPR once they finish or are close to finishing current batch being worked on.

Thanks _MK_

Just received PPR email now! Got DM last May 26.
Hope the rest of the guys in this forum get good news as well!

Thanks everyone for the valuable input and help!
And most of all Thank God for a very good news!!!

1. You could always call ur clinic and ask status of medical submission.
2. Check if you have overlooked any document request in spam folder.
3. Call cic to confirm medical receipt. Then you can wait for it to happen. No point asking them on status because they will play the same 17 months song like a broken record.

I had confirmed it earlier with my clinic and they said that the results were sent by an online system on 18th May.
Also, there is nothing from cic in my spam folder either.
I called cic to confirm whether they have received my medical report and they were really rude in their tone and said "Check with us after 14th August as that is when we would be able to view whether your records were received or not".

I am sure they need to hire more people (or people who are more efficient - if they cant process documents fast enough even with the online systems, they are still living in 1990s then)
