I called CIC couple times a week and try to get a true answer. I called again this afternoon and the agent said the same thing as others because my processing time is not 16 months yet, so he couldn't even look into my file.... sooooo sad ........

we have exactly the same timeline. They told me they might just sent the COPR and you take a passport to a office when landing

i guess we all 19th DM wil get PPR same time .. i hope tonite.. :(

Right, thats what agent told me 16 months processing time u have to wait till November but when i told her that decision was already made on my file couple weeks ago and i have confirmed about its approval then she replied it shouldnot take this long to receive PPR.. it sucks. >:( :( :'(

Count me in! I have been calling them and getting the same reply. They don't even bother asking for my UCI number and tell me the same thing. Oh well, guess we'll just have to hope for the best! And hoping to get PPR this week!

June, please be good to us!!!

PR visa expiry date = Passport expiry or medical test expiry (1 yr from receipt of med results) whichever comes earlier

Thanks for the reply.

Question here:

If I have an ongoing BOWP application then recently got a DM status for my PNP application, would the decision affect my PNP application at all? Or would the DM supersede my BOWP application? I'm thinking that this could be one reason why I haven't received PPR request yet?

Any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you!!!

Maybe us who got DM around May 18th - 23rd and still haven't had PPR. Maybe our Visa officer is on holiday. :o

I have an ongoing BOWP app, my wp expires tomorrow. i still got PPR on 21may. I dont think BOWP affects your PNP at all.
Likely with all the applications going DM, they are overloaded with passports and will only send out more PPR once they finish or are close to finishing current batch being worked on.

My ecas still says Application received. Medical done on 14th May.

Dont worry. They never update ECAS regularly or consistently. Since you are in the same batch as us, I am sure all the work is done and your app is just waiting on someone's desk to finalize and send PPR. Just give it a few more weeks. You will get it with the next batch of PPRs.

I hope so too _MK_. Thanks, that helps me focus on work work for a bit.

1. You could always call ur clinic and ask status of medical submission.
2. Check if you have overlooked any document request in spam folder.
3. Call cic to confirm medical receipt. Then you can wait for it to happen. No point asking them on status because they will play the same 17 months song like a broken record.

Hello Folks,

Need a bit of advice from you ppl. I am an Inland applicant and I recently received my PPR with a 30 day deadline to send the passport. But I have to leave to my home country in the next week and will be coming back after 25 days. So in theory I return adter the deadline. I can't postpone or cancel this trip (Because it's important). Do CIC accept request for extending the deadline to send the passport?? Do I email them regarding my situation??

Any inputs will be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

It is a critical moment so first you email and if you manage then you call them to your visa office if they allow then you go other then you take first your visa.(Its my personal view)
