Hey Starla,
Congratulations on your permanent residency. Can u please let me know how you booked your appointment for landing at local Cic office. And which office did u land?
Thank you

Hi. As soon as you receive your COPR just call CIC to make an appointment (1-888-242-2100 /1-3-1-1). I was asked about my Copr number and expiry date. After 1 week LOcal CIC office sent me an email for my date and time of my appointment. There was a list of what to bring during landing. At my time waiting time was 3 weeks.

Thanks starla. i was looking for the same information. i guess thats the reason why many of them go to border because they dont wanna wait anymore at the end of the journey.

Hello guys, I got a trouble. I just talked with a call centre agent and told me that they already sent my passport back yesterday with tracking number (PG335858***CA). Its the same tracking number of my return envelope. However, the return tracker in not yet active in Canadapost Website. Is there any chance of mishandling by Canadapost? I have read somewhere in the forum about the passport loss case. now I am worried.

Hi Starla,

Could you please share the list of documents CIC asked you to carry for inland landing?

Thank you.

Did you call Canada Post? My advise wait till the end of the day and hopefully your tracker would be active.

Please dont take cic agents words for it. For one, they are refering to a system which is not real time. Second, they probably put all packages together to be picked up. CP will be active once it is picked up n arrives at the source hub.

They lost your passport!!! That means you have to do a completely new PR application and wait another year and half !!!!

It seems cic is processing file in time received bases, my status shows ip since 14 May, hope I can get DM this week.

Finger Crossed and Best Of luck Brother :D ;D ;)

I think CIC call center again got a mandate of not letting the applicants know about the status of file. There use to be a mandate back in 2014. From early 2015 they started looking file and let the applicant know of whats happening. But today I called three times and got the same answer as "application is still in processing time and we cant access the file until that time".

It seems most of people who got dm last week and this week have not received ppr yet. cic is working weird again lol
Btw you can call and ask them what decision has been made.
I called cic agent and she told me that my application has been approved but sometime ppr gets little delayed.
Cheers

Hi All

Do you need IELTS while applying under PNP PR application with NOC A, B, 0.

Please help! I have called CIC and got different answer each time.

Thanks!
