I have a question regarding the rprf. cic instructed me in the email:

"You must send the receipt to CPC-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca". I only emailed the receipt to cost recovery and got the confirmation back from them.

Are we supposed to copy CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca ?

It is not required, however, keeping them in CC or FWD doesn't hurt. Wait till next week and if your status doesn't change to IP send them the confirmation

I didn't but I've heard some people did. I personally think if the instructions say send it to only one email then there's no problem following that.

ok cool. Thanks gyani and spartacus!
I dont anticipate IP so soon, just finished medical 4th may. it is not even medical received.

The email I received specified that "For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca and copy CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca"

Do we need to? I didn't write anything on the receipt but just sent out the original one to CPPO and CPC-O :o
