Hey,

I see you got RPRF request almost 2 months after your MR. I got it after 4-5 days, is that normal ?

As far as I know the process is as follows: AOR, MR, RPRF (if not paid before), IP, DM, PPR/COPR. Timing is all over the place lately (what process starts after how long etc) but generally this is the case.

Hey congrats! I have the same experience and I was nervous too but I understand all is good and for some reason they haven't issued ppr before DM. Its coming buddy. ;D

I can see your logic here and if i were cic agent i wud hv been fine but we all know cic and logic often don't go hand in hand. May b u cud give them a call? If they say fine then u hv no reason to worry. my two cents :)

Thanks spartacus.
Agents usually dont make a clear statement about these things for liability issues. Because it solely depends to the officer. I just dont want to waste a lot of time to get this PCC from back country again.

If you had submitted your pcc in the beginning and it had expired at cic office you would probably have had a stronger argument (you hadn't visited your country since PCC issuance, but as someone pointed out that someone may get convicted after leaving the country in the next one year).
But since you did not submit at that time and cic did not get the older pcc before expiry, you do not have any argument. You will have to get a new one and submit. Again, you can always call cic. But beware, agent might agree but your officer might request a new one as per guidelines. This will delay your processing.

Thanks devpsd. Mine has been expired only about 3 months! and I have been here for 2 years. I understand that it is ease of mind if I get another one but it takes about 3-4 weeks!!

i am a 6th,June 2014 apllicant...my status on ecas still says application received....i called cic call center a few times and the agents keep saying its underbackground check....its very frustrating now.....i dont know how long i have to wait.... :(

Just checked ECAS and it shows DM!!

27 August = AOR

well I called the cic agent and he's quite adamant that as long as it expires you should get a new one....so whatever...
