I sent both email and regular mail, but it was the email that was recorded in the system (based on my GCMS notes). So I don't think mailing it is necessary.

Hi guys,
Me and my spouse are done with our Medical yesterday and hopefully they are going to upload the results soon. As my file is already in Ottawa and they had already started to work on Background and Criminal checks since April, what would be the next step now?
Can I assume that once they will receive our Medicals, we would receive our passport request shortly? I am a May 2014 applicant and it's going to be a complete year in few days.
Having a high hopes that I will receive my passport request soon but just trying to find out here that it's even logical to assume that I will receive my passport request soon after Medical?

First time ! I was in one unlucky batch who got their medical after 11 months. But one a brighter side, maybe they have already finish the Background and Criminal checks for us.
