I think we're the same batch who waited for 10 months for AOR? I am exactly one day behind than you. Received my RPRF on Apr 24th, and Medical Request today. Though I haven't received any additional document, should I except anything before DM?

I hope dvdpsd has received RPRF & MR and _MK_ his RPRF.

Nah I did not get anything but I was not supposed to. Medical exam is already done and I paid RPRF upfront a few weeks ago. If they send me anything it would be for additional docs request ( which I hope I dont get).
Now the wait for IP begins for everyone. We were all in the same batch, so we should have a similar timeframe going forward.

Guys lets hope for some sort of updates this week, it is definitely has been very quite last couple of weeks.

Fingers Crossed.... Surprise me CIC

Hello Guys,

I got pp request recently and sent my pp for immigration visa. I am now waiting for getting it back. I need to go to my country for an urgent reason on July 15, 2015 and need to stay there for at least one month. So I will be coming back to Canada on August 15, 2015. As it takes long timeto get PR card after landing, I am planning to land at the time of coming back from my country at august.

Can you guys please share, how much time (Expiry date) it is allowed on the immigrant visa? I am afraid that I might get a immigrant visa with a short expiry date and might have to land before I leave Canada in July.

My timeline:

CIC application: June 2, 2014
Medical Done: August 24, 2014
PP request: April 11, 2015
PP sent: April 13, 2015

I highly appreciate any of your assistance in this regard!

Thanks a bunch!

YOu have not received your PP back yet :-X
Check your tracker, you might get it back soon. Do landing next day possible. You will get your card in 25-20 business days which is approx 6- weeks.
I would suggest not to leave the country with your card. You have enough time. DO not delay your landing.

i was wondering ,i paid my rprf fee on 15th and cic recieved my pcc and schefule a background on 26th april .my status is in process since 16th april so when they recieve the police report and schedule a background do they mention pcc recieved on ECAS or not.what comes on ecas? ::)

Can anyone clarify my understanding pls....

1. After I get the CoPR, I need to "land" via flagpoling at the border
2. Once I re-enter Canada, I am now officially a PR
3. It will take 30-60 days for me to get my PR card after the landing date
4. I cannot travel outside Canada without the PR card, as I need to re-enter Canada with the PR card (or apply for another travel document: http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/applications/travel.asp)

Is my understanding correct? So basically, after I flagpole, it is advised not to leave Canada until I get the PR card?

I applied for Permanent Residence through BC pnp in April 2014. I received my AOR and medical request in may 2014. I got married in september 2014 and I informed CIC with in a week. I didnt get a response from CIC and sent email couple of times in october and december. But no reply.

So I took myself as an initiative and filled the application forms for adding my wife and sent it to Sydney, Nova Scotia. I included the credit card authorization form for deducting the processing fees for my wife application. But unfortunately after sending the forms of my Wife, CIC(ottawa) has requested for the required documents and fees through email. So I filled the requested forms, paid the fees and sent the receipt along with the application to Ottawa.

But what happened last week is my bank informed me that there was a declined transaction on my credit card from CIC for $550. Probably CIC sydney is trying to do the transaction from the credit card authorization form which I sent earlier. I am worried now. Though the fees is paid completely for me and my wife and as they are trying to an extra transaction of $550 (unknowing i guess) will my entire application gets rejected for credit card decline or Am I good because fees is paid already . I spoke to customer service people, but they are not taht helpful.

Hey toleoring,
Do you know why you got a police certificate request again? Was it expired when you send it in the first place? I'm thinking if I should anticipate it or not, although it seems that you got it with your RPRF request.
Thanks!

CORRECT. Travel only with your PR card and it takes 25-30 business days
