Question for GCMS Notes:

I know it has been asked before, but does requesting for a GCMS notes delays the process in any way?

Out of my own application - definitely it doesn't delay things. I would think it might speed up the process in case an officer keeps a file on shelf for a while.

I've requested 3 sets of notes (one of them was a physical file (by mistake) and I consider my application processing quite quick).

i guess it would take approximately 2 months to get passport request right?

Received my Medical request today (exactly 24 hours later after RPRF request)!!! At last, things have started to move!!!

Hello seniors in this forum....I applied on july 24th,2014 ...got medical request on September 22nd...my ECAS shows medical received since November 2014..
I called CIC call center today for application status.....they said that ..my file is in process and background check is going on....what does that mean? My ecas still shows medical request and I have not paid my RPRF.....Thanks...
