Anybody thinking of applying under EE? I am pretty sure I am gonna get ITA under EE next month considering how close I am to the cutoff? Can I have two applications at the same time? I am OPNP Aug 18 applicant, still waiting for AOR.

Hi Qi,

When did you receive the request to pay RPRF and when did you pay it?

I have been asked to submit background declaration form. For email from cio Sydney .
Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature Please submit a new Schedule A with details for Personal History from June 2006-Aug 2006. This must be received at this office by:

Help needed why did they ask me again??

Take a look at the original Schedule A you sent with your application - most likely there's just a gap between dates that's unexplained/unaccounted for. It's easy to make that mistake when you're putting in a decade's worth of information. Basically just make sure you don't leave a single day unexplained. Like if there was a one day gap or a weekend between quitting job A and starting job B, make sure to type in "unemployed" or whatever for the in-between days. Or they might want a more thorough explanation of whatever it was that you were doing in June-August.

Don't worry too much about it, this sort of thing happens all the time!

Isn't that form is without date? We just have to write month and year? Right?

Good morning,

My application has received the first roadblock.... :(

Today morning I received an email from CIC requesting a PCC for India under my previous name. I had submitted the PCC for India with my application under my current name.

In 2004 I did a name change actually its not even a name change, just changed the spelling of my name and followed the legal procedure for the name change (sworn affidavit and newspaper advertisements).

In my PR application I disclosed all this information and also submitted the photocopies in support of my name change. I have 60 days time to submit the requested PCC. Right now I don't know if this is even possible and the icing on the cake is that I just came back after 6 weeks of vacation from India and had this mail arrived a month earlier it would have been easy for me to find a solution :(

I will appreciate any insights/advise here.

Thanks for your time.

I think the most obvious thing to do is call cic and talk to them. Sometimes, they send requests based on first impression, a name mismatch by database. You might stumble over a solution. They may ask for a letter from you or update from consulate general of india in toronto. Then you can think of the next step.

I actually don't know how to update the spreadsheet.

Hi terryhangover,

The spreadsheet is locked and currently I am the only admin managing the spreadsheet.

You can post your information on the thread or PM me and I will update it.
