Nothing about my application being processed.1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 9, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.
Well it means one thing for sure that someone at CIC is looking at your file and that you are one step closer to the end of your journey.cupcakes said:Why is it such a big milestone for request for RPRF? Genuine question...I got the RPRF request last week, so I paid it immediately...but when I check ECAS, it says:
Nothing about my application being processed.
Can someone please clarify why RPRF is a big deal? Does it signify getting closer to the end or what?
To me for example, it meant that 1 month after paying the RPRF, I changed to "In Process"cupcakes said:Why is it such a big milestone for request for RPRF? Genuine question...I got the RPRF request last week, so I paid it immediately...but when I check ECAS, it says:

Also at this point any news is a good news! I hope I would get the RPRF thing soon.cupcakes said:Why is it such a big milestone for request for RPRF? Genuine question...I got the RPRF request last week, so I paid it immediately...but when I check ECAS, it says:

Thank you so much MK for your quick reply...._MK_ said:You can apply but there is a good chance they might reject it. Usually it is easier to get Visit VIsa when do not have PR app lodged. You need to show proof that she has enough ties back in home country and the visa is just to visit you while you work. Not aware of visa ratio. Definitely do the application before attaching her to your PR app.
Thank you so much indocanadian for your quick reply, i really appreciate.....indocanadian13 said:I have added my file to my PR file and applied her VISA as dependent. She has got 10 years multiple entry visa. It all depends on the VO. She will be coming to Canada in may this year. U need to have good job to increase the visa chances. around $50,000 annually.
Also, I have applied tourist VISA for my parents and they also got the 10 years multiple entry VISA and they are already here. I guess I got lucky.
Again, it all depends on the VO. Send the proper and authentic sponsorship
I think _MK_ is right. I can tell you about my case. I sent my application 03, Jun, 2014. After that, in July, my wife applied for a visitor visa. At that time I haven't received anything from CIC, even AOR but she got it. And it's valid for 10 years (I don't know why they gave her that much time although in the application she only asked for 2 months). The only thing proved that she will come back to my home country is she travel alone, our kid still stay at home with her's parent. So I think if you really want to get the visitor visa for her, give them (immigration officer) a reason to believe that she will come back.zainsami said:Thank you so much MK for your quick reply....
