I called up cic and they told me not to pay until a notification is sent by them

One of my friend paid RPRF upfront and he says there is no harm in doing that.
But this was back in 2013. I asked a lawyer, he also said we can pay RPRF anytime once we get file number.

Hey Guys,

:D :D :D :D :DGood news for the ones without QA call. I got my money deducted form my CC yesterday. Called my CC company and yes the transaction was done by CIC.

How much time do you think until I receive AOR now, considering or assuming the things are moving now? My file was received near Aug 20 and I am an OPNP candidate without QA call.

Hey, I am wondering how did CIC call centre check your application as you still do not have a file number?

You call and ask if they can check to see where the file is based on UCI number. Depending on the person u r talking they may just say, your file has been received or might give you a little bit more info.
Either ways they can only say anything if CIO/CPC made notes on your file.

That was before this QA thing had started but this is after QA is over and atleast there is some progress on any case that has not received any QA call.

I have not paid the RPRF fee while applying for the PR as lawyear suggested which Visa office our case will be routed we are not sure at that time.
Many May applicants are getting RPRF request, really frustrated. :(

Congrats..Seems that they have been working on non-QA as well, great...The typical time to get AOR after Credit Card en-cash is a week to three.

Yeah looks like it. Why would they deduct money if my file was under some QA, so it logically makes sense that they are working. I think they are just slow. Thanks for the reply though.
