That is what I expect. Also, consider the fact that if there was something wrong with Applications without QA (lets say they had to reject it), they could have returned by now after the QA. Hey Randy, did you money got deducted?

A friend of mine got AOR without QA call. She is not a member of this forum. She applied in August 2014 and got AOR in 2nd week of Jan.

I guess nothing to worry about those May applicant who haven't got there AOR yet. It's quite evident that QA people have been given the top priority. Non QA applicant just needs to be patient.

True that they are giving priority to QA people. It is also true that no one is receiving any QA calls anymore. So what will happen to people who didnt receive one?

Also, if they are eventually going to process it, we still have atleast August, Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec QA applicants to be cleared before they start looking at non QA files of 2014. People like me have work permits expiring in May 2015.
It is really worrysome :(

Do you mind to provide details of his/her application?

Thanks. How soon he uploaded the results ?

It took a week. I enquired after a week and the on same day I could see the med update on the CIC website too.
The xrays are taken a block away, within walking distance (reference is given by the same doc, one doesn't need to book separately). Everything was done in two hours.

Can somebody suggest me doctor in Ottawa for medical who uploads result quickly?

Also another question:
I have private insurance from my employer does it cover medical test?
I know OHIP doesn't cover it.

this is not covered by any insurance. I heard that there is only one doctor in the west end of the city who is supposed to be quite prompt about it.

I went to the one on Kent st. downtown. CIC/CIO received the results in a week.

I went to Dr Francis Li for my medicals on Jan 31...and still see no update on ECAS. My status is still showing as "Application Received". Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi Nijjar,

I paid via Certified Cheque, so my amount was deducted right away. What about you? Is anyone of us (May Applicant) got any news yet?
