i feel really sad that ontario applicants been waiting more then 6,7 months for AOR and Medical.i can understand how everyone would be feeling waiting these days after medical also has been more then 7-8 months....anyway i pray 2015 bring every applicants smile back .wish you every one merry christmas and happy new year.

Hi Randy!

You have an option here. If your WP is about to expire in less than 4 months and if you haven't received your AOR yet, you can check with CIC support where they will issue a supporting letter. You can use this letter as reference for your bridge extension.

I don't think it was an option. Anyhow, I called them and they didn't help me that time. So now I am under Implied Status. My Work Permit (Bound with Employer) is open application for 4 months now and no AOR since seven and a half month.

I am really tensed !!

Hi,

I need help from Indian applicants friends. I was checking the form to apply for PCC at BLS Toronto. A column needs one to fill up the current occupation in Canada. I applied on the basis of OPNP Masters without job offer category and don't have a job yet, what should I fill up? Though I am doing independent research and am part of a univ research group (voluntary and unpaid). I don't want to leave it blank as I will be submitting a copy of my work permit.

Totally shocked after reading this article. There is no good news for OPNP applicants in the coming future. We might have to wait 2-3 years before we become PR.

Indeed sad news to OPNP candidates.
This also explains why entire PNP processing was dramatically slowed down.
Let's hope for better progress on other provinces in the coming months.

Be patient and hopefully aor will come this month. Audit report is old story. Now we know why the QA. All those who got calls were told that they should receive aor in Jan? My concern is all this delay will create backlog. It will take 17 months. There are many affected and cic may find a mitigation strategy ...or not.
Probably we will get pr after new ee applicants. We are paying the price for the activities of fraudsters and inefficacies of opnp. Life isnt fair. Just have to live with it.

Is there anyone who did not received AOR yet and work permit is about to expire or has already expired?
I am freaking out over it. Although we have a letter from OPNP that requests 2 years of work permit extension for us, I highly doubt that would be considered after this ministry mess.

Please help me friends.
