@ Terry, then why does an august applicant get aor and med but not a may applicant? Shouldn't all applications starting from a point in time be treated similarly into a new process?

I can see that many august applicants have already gotten their AOR but I have not. I am an August 1st applicant. It doesn't make sense whatsoever and very unfair. There's no transparency in the application process at CIC at all.

What I'm trying to say is perhaps those selected for ee are gonna start getting response next year, not now.

Why is it that when I validate the Gen. App form, I get to generate 10 barcodes, page 5 of 6 and page 6 of 6, Have u guys encountered this? Is this normal?

Instruction: "When the form is validated, a page of barcodes (page 5 of 5), similar to the one below, will be created. If the form does not validate, follow the instructions that appear after clicking on the validate button.

make sure the barcodes are on the last page (page 5 of 5);"

I had emailed CIO for status check and i got a reply after 52 days. I received an email from CIO today and they confirmed my medical results received and the file is in process at CIO.

What does that indicate? My E-cas still MR.

I came to know this from a trusted source.
OPNP is calling applicants and CIC is doing QA to distinguish eligible candidates for Express Entry. Those applicants who are eligible will be automatically added to Express Entry and will be given PR within 6 months i.e., June-July 2015. In this case, applicants don't have to re-apply. CIC will automatically select.
Now, they are doing it for Ontario only because they have 40% of the backlog from Ontario, hence they want to clear this first. That is why they are observing each and every file carefully and therefore, the process is slow.
Those applicants, not selected for EE will be processed at normal speed under original existing category.
Also, maximum applicants of Ontario leave ontario once they get Nomination or PR to get better job opportunities in other provinces. CIC and OPNP wants to make sure that applicants will stay in their designated provinces even after PR.
So guys, no need to worry, CIC is going to clear the backlog very soon in the beginning on the next year and they have already started working on it. Many applicants have started receiving AOR/ME and the process in ON now.
The people who have already applied between MAY-AUG will be given preference in EE and their files will be cleared ASAP.

This delay will last till next 2 month , i called CIC and they told me kind of same thing and asked me to wait till January 2015,cause process is changing in 2015, also if you just give random calls to international students sections of different universities , they will tell you exactly same thing

Just got the QA call from ON PNP! The person told me the same as everyone else: CIC is doing the QA and ON PNP is making the calls to gather some of the information they need for it.

The caller wasn't able to respond to when the QA process will be over.

Medical Results show as received now on ECAS.

Other than a long wait now, what is the next steps that would show on ECAS?

When did you sent an email? Please share date. Also have i understood correctly that "You sent an email to Sydney but received reply from Ottawa" . I sent search inquiry and it almost 45-50 day and no reply. Hoping to receive it soon

I received call from PNP office to confirm my job details, education and address info.
I also received an email from CPP Ottawa they have received my application and they don't need any thing for now from me.
I think they are working now. We should get file number and pr soon. I also read something on this forum only about people who are eligible they will be put in for express entry and by march/april they will get pr.

I, too, am waiting for the AoR. Application reached CIO on Aug 18th. I was nominated under OPNP.
I don't even care about total processing time, just need the AoR so that I can apply for the BOWP, only have 2 weeks left before my current WP expires. This wait is agonizing!

I called PNP(ontario) today and they said we are helpless in this case.we need to talk to cic.
