VO stands for Visa Office requested for processing your PR application.

Hello All,

I know this is not the right thread regarding my situation, but I am writing this here as the members here are all active in this post and I am also one among the applicants applied under the June 2014 time line.

I have got the Ontario PNP on July 20 2014 and I have applied for PR on July 22 2104(The date when my package was received by CIO). As of now I didn't get any AOR. I know that the applicants who applied for PR before me in June 1st week also didn't receive their AOR's yet.

Coming to my exact situation, I got a fulltime job offer from the different province. This is a very good opportunity and I really don't want to miss this. I am in dilemma to stay here in Ontario waiting for PR and JOB or to accept the fulltime offer from other province.

Can any one help me how to withdraw my application ? I know that I have to wait until I get file number(AOR acknowledgement) to write a letter regarding my withdrawal. :(

I don't want to miss the fulltime opportunity. As per the rule I should not work fulltime in another province until I get PR. So, I myself want to withdraw my application voluntarily without cheating on them like silently moving to another province without withdrawing the application.

I have contacted CIC call centre and they have just advised to send an email to Nova Scotia regarding the situation.

Thanks in Advance.

My advice,
do not miss the right job opportunity. go to Alberta (i assume) and take the job.
meanwhile you do not have to withdraw your PNP application, you are still a prospective applicant of Ontario. You have proved already that you have intended to live in Ontario, and this job offer does not void your intention.

good luck

Thank you sammir for the advice.

But if I leave my Pr application without informing them , and what if they check and find that I am not staying in Ontario?

Hello mj
I applied open work permit with following supporting docs: no aor required
1. Job letter from my employer confirming from how long I am working with the company and my duties, salary and benefits etc.
2. Sinp nomination letter
3. copy of old work permit, passport copies and all other doc listed in the checklist.

Very easy to apply. Also do paper application before your work permit expires because it give you extra time on new WP. like a month or so extra - which is always good. :)

Let me know if you any help.
Good luck

hi deepdeep,
when is your work permit expiring? you think i can apply even before 4 months expiration?

Ontario applicants:
Have you guys heard anything new?
Did u get any response from CIO regarding delay? Just curious because all i hear is QA.
My CIO response was pretty flat. It is in process for initial review and will get back once done.

I never heard back from CIO, CIC/Opportunities Ontario donot have any information. The GCMS notes donot reveal anything useful either. Except for a matter of concern that the RPRF fees were due sometime in July (how is that even possible when we are still waiting for AOR?). I didnt hear about QA process from any of these agencies but from our forum.

Rumour has it that the QA process on the Ontario PNP is coming to an end, and that the backlog on Ontario PNP PR applications will start getting cleared soon.

I dont take the GCMS too seriously; not yet n i do not quite comprehend their notes. RPRF is probably just a field in the query for your entire case till closure. To be ignored for now.
Ontario pnp told me QA in process.
