Any update for Ontario applicants?
I applied for PR under Ontario PNP.
My application was received by them on 26th of June and still no update or any form of acknowledge.
Sent an email to CIO (almost 26 days), no reply.
Requested GCMS notes using UCI from work permit, no reply.

As you will see from the spreadsheet in the forum, all OPNP applications have been thrown out into oblivion. Some say it is a "QA" (thats going on for 5 months).

According to acknowledgement CIO will be reply in 30 days but that is not true, I got the reply after 45 days. Hope for the best, they will reply, I know it is hard to wait but we don't have any other option. You can call them too if you have completed 10 weeks after received your application

Hi all you beautiful people!

Just a couple of questions

Have any of the 2014 MPNP applicants status changed from Received ?

Will Manitoba continue assessing any 2014 cases this year or are we doomed to wait for 2015?

With what month (2013) applications are MPNP currently busy assessing and how long will it take for them to get to 2014 May applicants?

Thank you for the replies in advance.

Any news from May Applicants? Our application (MPNP-GS) was received on May 4 by Mike, It'll be 6 months by Nov 4 and we haven't gotten any aor/med request. A bit worried though as the bank draft we sent has only 6 months validity and according to the bank it's still outstanding. We tried emailing CIC NS, we got a reply after more than a month asking for the complete name and date of birth, Since replying we haven't heard from them again. I hope our docs was not misplaced. We were also unable to contact their call centre *sigh. Anyone who's on the same boat? :'(

including holidays :)

How Long is this QA

The QA and aor delay are least of my worries now. With all the huge hold on all applications, the processing time in the future will be massive. Candidates like me with remaining 1 to 2 year work permit will have lot of problems. May be lose job too. I cannot decide if I should apply under cec; the 1500+550 CAD for opnp/pr was just a scam and should forget about it. These guys have no idea how they make immigation a living hell. I don't know whether to cry on or mock my bad luck. All this had to happen just on the month i submitted my application.

We all are fooled by CIC.They are just wasting time.

Immigration is always a nightmare especially with the unpredictability of decision makers. All of a sudden they change rules and they cannot imagine the devastating impact it can have on people; no one can except those going through it. So much time, money, effort, risks. it is not a matter of just a document or money but a matter of life, present and future.
I read lot of applicants in other forum getting calls from from opnp on their job, location and other details. Outland applicants are asked additional documents. Somewhere i read about border security checks also. I have a job, inland and still everything on hold. CIC is having issues with ontario but everyone seems to blindly believe that it is just a QA. When we send an email to ministry they just ask us to contact cic and they give a phone number. They know very well that cic cannot answer without file number.

On my GCMS notes they have a section : Paper File #. I wonder if that is the same as AOR or they have a different file # for their internal processing.
